I spent my college days in Stellenbosch, where I completed my Diploma in Somatology, and thereafter my Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics at the prestigious Isa Carstens academy.
After a few years of navigating the industry, I noticed a common thread - the lack of personalized attention and genuine care for clients. That is when the idea of The Skin Firm was born. I wanted to create a welcoming environment where every client is met with love, respect, and a big scoop of special treatment!

Having faced the struggles of problematic skin for a large part of my life, I've come to realize that being a skin care therapist is about so much more than just treatments. It's a journey of empathy, connection, and boosting confidence. When clients come to us, they bring not just skin concerns, but personal stories and battles that go deeper than what meets the eye. As a skin care therapist, our role is to not only help with external issues but also to uplift spirits, promote self-care, and nurture self-acceptance. It's about creating a welcoming space where people can let go of insecurities, embrace vulnerabilities, and leave feeling not just better in their skin, but in their whole self.
Nestled in the heart of Somerset West, our salon opened its doors in 2020. Amidst the challenges and uncertainties that year brought, our journey began with a vision to redefine the salon experience. Originally set to open our doors in March that year, the collective pause imposed by the global pandemic compelled us to maintain our anticipation until late June.
From our humble beginnings - when it was just myself and a receptionist - to where we are today in 2024, with a team of five extraordinary and passionate ladies, our journey of growth has been nothing short of incredible.
